Human Rights and Hanukkah ~ Shine the Light

Join our kehilla THIS FRIDAY EVENING at 7:30 to welcome Shabbat and elevate and celebrate the value of human rights. In collaboration with T’ruah ~ the Rabbinic Call for Human Rights , we will reflect on the light that human rights champions shine in the darkest corners. We will consider the ways in which our celebration of Hanukkah, the Festival of Light, can be more brightly illuminated when we infuse it with the values of justice, dignity, and equal treatment of all of humanity. Jessica and Bill will lead us in a musical and meaningful evening in our worship space at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2070 Ridgecliff Road, UA.
